Sixtine is a handcrafted beeswax candle with a distinctive hexagonal shape and an elegant, sculptural silhouette. Made in Provence, it brings a natural, understated touch to your interior.

Standing 19 cm tall, this hexagonal pillar candle takes its inspiration from the world of bees. Its six faceted sides give this beeswax candle a distinctive sculptural presence, while the warm golden tones and natural texture of the wax make it beautiful even when unlit.

Look closely and you will discover two inscriptions engraved into the wax. On one facet, the name APIS CERA appears in relief-free, recessed lettering. Another bears the words LUX IN TENEBRIS, a Latin expression meaning “light in darkness”. These inscriptions give the candle a personal identity and a subtle symbolic dimension.

Handcrafted in my workshop in Provence, Sixtine combines the natural beauty of beeswax with a geometric design and the signature details of Apis Cera.

With its architectural shape and carefully considered details, Sixtine is designed to be appreciated as both a source of light and a decorative object. It can stand alone on a shelf or mantelpiece, or become part of a carefully composed table setting.
